Project Description
The objective of this research project is to test if winter cover crop residues can make weed species more susceptible to herbicides. We will conduct a greenhouse experiment and test two herbicide products on two problematic weed species in Texas. There will also be opportunities to work on side projects in the lab and in the field.

Team Needs
– Be curious, ask questions and engage with the research
– Experience in a research lab is preferred, but not required
– Be able to work outside at the farm for about 4 hours in the morning occasionally

– Learn how to use farm equipment
– Learn how to use lab equipment
– Learn how to analyze data
– Help with grad school, internship, and scholarship applications
– Possible publications (depending on the depth of involvement with the project)
