Description:
|
This research and development project seeks to establish a framework for a peer mentorship program focused on undergraduate researchers. All researchers are enrolled in the Biomedical Research Certificate (BRC) program. This mentorship program will be focusing on providing underclassmen (freshmen, sophomores) with the opportunity to seek advice, counseling and navigation from upperclassmen (juniors, seniors). Research involved in this project will include mixed-method analysis of interviews and surveys from participants (i.e., staff, faculty, students) to best guide the researchers development of the mentorship program. The results of the analysis will inform final framework to be installed at the end of the Spring 2020 semester.
