Project Description
Students experience a variety of emotions in math learning settings. This current research project aims to systematically understand the scope of the existing literature on this topic. Specifically, the team will conduct a thorough literature review on emotions surrounding math learning among K-12 learners.
Team Needs
Our team currently consists of a group of faculty and graduate students. We are looking for additional undergraduate researchers to join our team to contribute to this research effort.
Key responsibilities involve:
1. Screen abstracts and full-text articles based on pre-determined criteria
2. Search for and organize full-text articles
3. Extract and organize data from selected articles
4. Maintain accurate records and note-taking
5. Participate in training and team meetings and contribute to discussion on findings
Key qualifications include:
1. Highly motivated to pursue a career in the field of learning and developmental sciences.
2. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
3. Have strong ability to follow structured protocols and work independently.
4. Have taken one or more research method/statistics courses.
5. Basic familiarity with academic research or willingness to learn
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
