Project Description
Chaos in the Genome is an educational video game development project. This project aims to develop and deploy a supplementary educational resource for middle and high school students to help foster interest and enthusiasm towards science education. Fun, engaging, and motivating educational resources can encourage students to be more interested in what they are learning. Video games provide unique learning opportunities through engagement, collaboration, and competition. We are looking for students interested in biology & genetics and want to help develop a STEM education video game.
Team Needs
– Motivated students who are passionate about STEM Education & virtual learning
– Detail-oriented students who excel with troubleshooting & problem solving
Students who are comfortable working on their own, in addition to a team-based environment
– Students who are comfortable working in an environment with evolving research tasks
– Students who are interested in graphic design, video game development, biology, and genetics
– No specific requirements, but it is recommended that students have at least some coding experience
