Who Can Join
Graduate Students, Masters Students, Undergraduate Students

Project Description
We invite undergraduate and graduate students to join a research project focused on using computer vision for activity recognition in animals. This project offers an opportunity to apply technical skills to real-world applications in animal behavior and precision livestock farming.

Team Needs
Ideal candidates will have prior experience with computer vision techniques, including image annotation, segmentation, and related tasks. The team will have in-person/online weekly meetings throughout the semester. May include traveling to a nearby farm facility. All majors are welcome, but preference will be given to those with experience in computer vision/model building/ data science.

Special Opportunities
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in image annotation, segmentation, and model development. Students who make significant contributions will have the chance to present their work at Student Research Week and may earn co-authorship on peer-reviewed publications.
