Project Description
Under the guidance of Associate Research Scientist Dr. Michael Rugh, our team investigates how video games, simulations, and gamification can improve learning in middle schools, high schools, healthcare training, and military settings. Typical tasks include reviewing and summarizing literature, designing studies, collecting and analyzing data, and writing or presenting results. Because our lab runs several game-based learning projects, you may choose to contribute to more than one as you gain experience.
Team Needs
We are seeking team members who commit to every task, show a genuine interest in learning the research and publication process, and consistently meet deadlines. No prior research experience is needed.
Special Opportunities
Opportunities exist in this project to attend conferences, to earn co-authorship on high quality journal article publications, to contribute to grant proposals, and to assist in designing and developing games. Additional opportunities exist in this project to become a full member of our research team, build your résumé, and receive a letter of recommendation.
