Aggie Service Leadership Program
Aggie Service Leadership Programs are collaborative leadership development programs designed to enhance the leadership and mentoring skills of undergraduate and graduate students. Through the Aggie Service Leadership Program, an undergraduate or graduate student leads a team of undergraduates and engage with community partners in a collaborative service project. Team Leaders benefit from recruiting diverse members with complementary talents, skills, backgrounds, and interests. Because service projects and community partnerships can last years, underclassmen are usually recruited to replace graduating seniors. Team Leaders periodically meet to discuss challenges they face leading teams and engaging with the community to form mutually-beneficial partnerships. In monthly meetings, the team leaders combine their various levels of experience and backgrounds to collaborate on leadership and engagement strategies, helping each other overcome challenges and develop innovative best practices.
