Project Description
Examining the role of feedback design in educational games in developing transferable and 21st-century skills remains an important and timely area of research. This study investigates the impact of adaptive feedback on learners’ experience, performance, and cognitive processing during a brief (3–5 minute) simulation game in an undergraduate engineering context. Specifically, the study explores whether adaptive feedback, compared to regular feedback, can improve learners’ engagement, perceived feedback effectiveness, problem-solving performance, and cognitive workload.
Team Needs
Ideally, I need students who can independently manage participants when they visit the lab, understands data management and data processing.
Vulunteers need to have a CITI certificate in "Group 2.Social and Behavioral Research Investigators and Key Personnel"
Student volunteers may be asked to participate in writing for publication.
Special Opportunities
Volunteers will have the opportunity to join in publishing the results of this study.
